A fatal road accident occurred on Sunday along Hadejia Road at Kwannar Danja in Kano State.
The accident, which involved a commercial DAF trailer, claimed seven lives, while seventy others sustained various degrees of injury.
The Federal Road Safety Corps says 105 people were involved in the crash.
Rescue teams arrived at the scene within five minutes and evacuated the injured to four hospitals in Kano and Nasarawa States.
Preliminary findings point to over-speeding and loss of control, worsened by the illegal practice of carrying passengers with goods.
The FRSC has warned motorists, especially commercial drivers, to obey traffic regulations to prevent further loss of lives.
