The sterling leadership qualities and statesmanship of late Deputy Inspector General of Police, Parry Osayande, which distinguished him among his contemporaries, were brought to the fore as family members, friends, and associates gathered at the Holy Cross Cathedral, Benin City, for his Vigil Mass.
Pius Nsogho reports that dignitaries at the event included the Iyase of Benin, Chief Sam Igbe, the Esama of Benin, Sir Chief Dr. Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion, the AIG Zone Five, Salman Dogo, and the Edo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Monday Agbonika, among others.
