Investigations reveal that all Fulani herdsmen in Koro Chiefdom of Kagarko Local Government Area have reportedly relocated to neighbouring Nasarawa State, while more than thirty villages have been deserted, forcing residents to migrate to safer locations.

The District Head of Koro disclosed that the chiefdom used to be one of the most peaceful in Kaduna State, but has now been overtaken by bandits, creating fear and forcing many villagers to abandon their homes for safer communities.
