Girls Power Initiative GPI Nigeria, with support from BBC Media Action, has empowered over forty girls and young women with start-up kits after providing free training in entrepreneurship skills.
The beneficiaries, who are out-of-school adolescent girls and young women, received various equipment to help them start their own businesses.
Patience Osarogiuwa reports that the empowerment took place during the project closure meeting of GPI Edo State, a project that began in November 2024.
