The rich cultural heritage of Ekpoma, the administrative headquarters of Esan West local government area, Edo State, was rekindled during the 2026 Ihuen Festival.

The celebration, held at the Palace of the Onogie of Ekpoma, His Royal Highness, Zaiki Anthony Abumere II, brought together chiefs, natives of Ekpoma from within Esan land and in the diaspora, including traditional rulers from other parts of Nigeria.
