The Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo has approved the appointment of Professor Victor Adetimirin Olawale as the Vice Chancellor of Edo University, Iyamho.
According to a statement by the Secretary To The State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor Esquire, the appointment takes immediate effect.
The statement further described Professor Olawale as a distinguished academic and seasoned administrator with decades of experience in teaching, research and university leadership.
The Professor of Agronomy has served in various capacities within Nigeria’s university system.
His wealth of experience, dedication to academic excellence, and visionary leadership are expected to further elevate Edo University, Iyamho, as a center of learning and research excellence in Nigeria and beyond.
