The Edo State Police Command has reassured residents that it is intensifying strategies to curb the rising cases of kidnapping and other crimes across the state, particularly incidents recorded in farming communities.
Fielding questions from Crime Correspondent, Jolaade Ojo, the Command’s Public Relations Officer, CSP Moses Yamu, explained that several initiatives, including the Community Safety Partnership, strengthened intelligence gathering, and enhanced synergy with sister security agencies, are being implemented to address insecurity in the state.
