Edo State Police Command has arrested a forty-two-year-old man, Osabohe Igereba, in connection with the murder of his girlfriend, Joy Jerome, in Ikpe Community, Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area, Edo State.
The Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Eno Ikoedem, who briefed newsmen, disclosed that the suspect allegedly killed his girlfriend over accusations of infidelity and disposed of her body in a river.
She confirmed that the suspect has confessed to the crime and is currently in police custody.
