The Edo State Government has called on all property owners in the Six Government Layouts in Benin City to present their documents for verification and recertification.
A statement by the Managing Director, Edo State Geographic Information Service, EDOGIS, Dr. Tony Ikpasaja enjoined property owners in the under-listed layouts in Benin City to comply with the verification and recertification without fail.
According to the statement, the affected layouts include Etete Government Layout, Iyekogba Housing Estate, Evbuoriaria layout and Ikpoba River Dam Acquisition.
Others are Oka-Oseni-Egba-Okanaruovia and Evbuodia Acquisition.
The statement adds that property owners and corporate organizations with the old Certificate of Occupancy, C of O, are also encouraged to present them for the new digital C of O.
The statement clarifies that the verification and recertification exercise will commence on Thursday, first May, 2025 and end on Friday, thirtieth May, 2025 at the EDOGIS office, Plot one hundred and two Sapele Road, Benin City, Edo State.
