In a move to deepen community participation and strengthen forest conservation efforts in Edo State, the Executive Chairman, Edo State Forest Commission, Doctor Valentine Asuen, has inaugurated a grassroots Consultative Caretaker Committee for Urhonigbe and Gelegele Forest Reserves.

Doctor Asuen says the initiative is part of reforms aimed at sustainable forest management and local empowerment.
