Eight suspected kidnappers and five pipeline vandals have been arrested by the Edo State Police Command during coordinated security operations in parts of Esan West and Owan West Local Government Areas of the state.
The operations, which also led to the rescue of kidnap victims, followed actionable intelligence, swift response, and coordinated bush-combing exercises ordered by the Commissioner of Police, CP Monday Agbonika, FDC.
The move is aimed at dismantling criminal networks and denying criminals a safe haven.
