The Edo State Police Command has rescued sixteen kidnapped victims in separate operations along the Benin–Lagos and Benin–Akure Roads.
The Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Moses Yamu, who revealed armed kidnappers blocked sections of the highways and abducted innocent travelers, on 23rd of August, 2025, reassured of the Command’s ongoing efforts to ensure the safe rescue of any remaining victims, while the perpetrators will be tracked down and brought to justice.
