Over one point eight billion naira worth of illicit drugs have been seized and removed from the streets of Edo State, by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

Edo state commander, Mitchell Ofoyeju, reported this staggering figure during a press briefing, presenting the commands’ first quarter operational scorecard of 2026.
