Members of the National Butchers Association of Nigeria, Edo State Chapter, on Monday staged a peaceful protest in Benin City over what they described as an attempt to impose a leadership structure on their union.
The protesters, led by National Chairman, Sunny Omokharo, marched from the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) secretariat to the Government House, demanding government intervention on issues bordering on suspension, recognition, and leadership appointments.
