The Edo State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has passed a vote of implicit confidence on Governor Monday Okpebholo, the State Chairman, Emperor Jarrett Tenebe and the State Secretary, Engr. Lawrence Okah, in recognition of their steadfast leadership, dedication, and contributions to the unity and progress of the party in the state.
The resolution was part of key decisions reached on Thursday at the State Working Committee, SWC meeting, where members deliberated extensively on issues affecting the smooth running and cohesion of the party.
In a statement signed by the State Publicity Secretary, Barrister Peter Uwadiae-Igbinigie, the committee announced the immediate lifting of the suspension placed on Hon. Valentine Asuen and others.
The SWC urged them to resume active participation in party affairs and continue contributing positively to the growth and unity of the APC in their areas.
Reaffirming its commitment to fairness, internal democracy, and unity within the Edo APC, the State Working Committee called on all members to continue working together to strengthen the party and uphold its values across all levels in the state.
