The Edo State House of Assembly has appealed to the national leadership of the Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC, to shelve a proposed leadership change of the present executive in its Edo State chapter.
Assembly correspondent Favour Osaro reports that the motion was raised during Tuesday’s plenary following reports of a planned inauguration of a caretaker committee in the state.
