Barrister Nelda Imasuen in an Easter Message observed that Good Friday stands as a solemn reminder of the ultimate sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ adding that his suffering, crucifixion, and death on the cross for the redemption of mankind is a profound testament of love beyond measure.

The Senator notes that Through His sacrifice, Christ paid the price for the sins of Man and fulfilling the promise of atonement remarking that the act of selfless love paved the way for the glorious victory of Easter Sunday.

He says The resurrection is the assurance of hope and new beginnings for the Human Race which is a powerful reminder that light will always triumph over darkness, and life over death.
