A Federal High Court in Benin City has adjourned the has adjourthe ned hearing till Wednesday, Eleventh of February, 2026, in the case involving the alleged aiding of the suicide of Mrs Lilian Omokhuale, daughter of Mr. Omoruyi Oloton, Chief Executive Officer of Uyi Technical Conglomerate.

‎The recent adjournment followed an oral application by the prosecution counsel, Polycarp Odion, requesting the court to substitute a former extant charge with a new one filed on February 9, 2026, which seeks to strike out the names of the second and third defendants in the case, leaving only the first defendant.
