Comrade Sunday Edebiri, APC Chairmanship Candidate in the Edo State 2023 Local Government election, Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area, has congratulated Governor Monday Okpebholo on his landmark victory at the Supreme Court.
In a congratulatory message, Comrade Edebiri described the Supreme Court judgement as a clear testament to the strength and resilience of Nigeria’s democratic institutions and the rule of law.
According to him, the ruling of the apex court affirmed the validity of Governor Okpebholo’s election in Edo State governorship election held on September 21, 2024
Comrade Edebiri said the victory is not only a reaffirmation of the trust and mandate freely given to Governor Okpebholo by the people of Edo State but also a motivation for the current administration to deliver more dividends of democracy.
He expressed confidence that the renewed legal triumph will further energise the Governor’s efforts to sustain and accelerate the developmental strides already witnessed across the state.
Comrade Sunday Edebiri prayed to God for divine guidance and protection for Governor Okpebholo and his deputy, Dennis Idahosa, as they steer Edo State to new heights of prosperity and pride.
