Chairman, Edo State Forestry Commission, Doctor Valentine Asuen has harped on the need for those residing in the riverine areas to cooperate with the State Government to attract development to the state and avoid illegal tree felling in the forests.

Doctor Asuen stated this when he received the leaders of Ijaw communities in Ologbo and Gelegele communities who paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Benin City, capital of Edo State.
