A Benin-based businessman and Chief Executive Officer of Lushville Hotel, Dr. Omoruyi Akpata, has commended the Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpekholo, for appointing several Benin indigenes into key positions, including commissioners, special advisers, and acting local government chairmen, among others.
Dr. Akpata gave the commendation while hosting a celebration in honor of those newly appointed into various exalted offices by the governor.
Efosa Uwangue reports that the appointment of a Benin indigene as Managing Director of Independent Television and Radio by the Esama of Benin, Sir Chief Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion, was also applauded by the host.
