Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle and senior staff redeployment in the state civil service.
A statement signed by the Governor’s spokesperson, Sanusi Dawakin-Tofa, said the decision is “part of ongoing efforts to strengthen governance and improve service delivery across key ministries.”
According to the directive, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Haruna Dederi has been moved to the Ministry of Transport.
The Solicitor General and Permanent Secretary, Mustapha Muhammad, has been redeployed to the Ministry of Environment as Permanent Secretary.
The Commissioner of Humanitarian Affairs, who has been overseeing the Ministry of Transport in an acting capacity, is to return to his substantive role.
