Facts have emerged following claims and counterclaims surrounding the drilling of boreholes in several communities in Uhunmwonde Local Government Area of Edo State, facilitated by the member representing Orhionmwon and Uhunmwonde Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Chief Billy Osawaru.

While the lawmaker, speaking during a phone-in segment on Independent Radio’s programme People Talk To People, said he facilitated the drilling of industrial boreholes in Ugieghudu, Eguaholor, Uhenisi, and Oza communities, residents in those areas insist the projects are yet to be completed.
