The body of former Inspector-General of Police and immediate past Chairman of the Police Service Commission, Mr Solomon Arase, arrived at the Benin Airport on Saturday from Abuja via a chartered aircraft.
Present at the airport to receive his body were top police officers including the Gopvernor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, Assistant Inspector General Of Police, Zone 5, AIG Salman Dogo, and members of his family.
Our crime correspondent, Jolaade Ojo, reports that a guard of honour was mounted in his honour as part of last respects to the late police chief.
