The Benin Traditional Council has insisted that Ogbeson is a quarter in Iguoshodin N’Ebudin Village in Ovia North East Local Government Area of Edo State.
This is contained in a letter signed by the Secretary of the Benin Traditional Council, Frank Irabor, in response to a request by the Legal Adviser to Iguoshodin N’Ebudin Village, Sir Edward Aibangbee of Aibangbee Law Firm.
Irabor stated that the decision on the status of Ogbeson as a quarter in Iguoshodin N’Ebudin was stated in a letter dated Fourth November, 2021, where the Odionwere of Iguoshodin N’Ebudin was mandated to oversee all the quarters in the village, including Ogbeson.
It added that the decision was further reaffirmed by the Palace on Fourth November, 2021, when both parties appeared before the Chiefs in the palace.
