The Benin Traditional Council, BTC, has suspended a Chief implicated in the unauthorized access to the Palace premises by a social media influencer, Habeeb Hamzat Adelaja, popularly known as Peller and his entourage, breaching protocols and desecrating the sacred precincts of the Palace.

In a statement by the secretary, Benin Traditional Council Frank Irabor said a Palace staff Mr. Omuemu, has been detained by the Police and charged to court for causing a breach of the peace and abetting the unauthorized entry.
