In a move aimed at promoting a culture of decency among public servants, the Delta State Government has banned bushy beards, artificial braided or dyed hair, long eyelashes, fake nails, and other forms of what it describes as indecent appearance.
While some residents of Benin City believe this policy will encourage professionalism and moral discipline, others are questioning the government’s authority to regulate personal lifestyle choices.
