The Executive Director, Operations, ITV and Radio, Chief Elder Ogbeide Uwumwonse, has been commended for his immense contributions to the media industry.
The commendation came during the 8th edition of the Best of Edo Awards 2025, held at the Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub, Benin City, where he was honoured with the Media Icon of the Year Award.
Pius Nsogho reports that the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Dr. Festus Alenkhe, Ambassador Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen, among others, were also honoured for excellence in their various fields of human endeavour.
