Residents of Auchi the administrative headquarters of Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State, have taken to the streets in a peaceful protest against the growing wave of kidnappings in the area.

The demonstration, which entered its third day on Friday, is part of a planned seven-day protest aimed at drawing the attention of government and security agencies to the worsening insecurity affecting residents.
