Meanwhile, the Management of Auchi Polytechnic has taken strong exception to a statement by Mr. Peter Obi, alleging that the Student Union Government election held at the institution resulted in the death of two students and injuries to several others due to gunfire.
In a statement signed by the institution’s Public Relations Director, Angela Egele, the Management categorically denied these claims, describing them as false, misleading, and unfounded.
The Management insisted that no student was shot, injured, or killed during the electoral process, which was declared inconclusive due to irregularities.
According to the statement, the election was conducted under the supervision of security agencies.
It urged the public, stakeholders, and members of the press to disregard Mr. Obi’s misinformation.
