Members of the Diaspora Akpakomiza Movement, DAM, have expressed explicit confidence in the Director-General of the Edo State Diaspora Agency, Dr. Loretta Oduware Ogboro-Okor, describing her leadership as exceptional.
The vote of confidence was passed by members of the association during the welcome ceremony of Dr. Ogboro-Okor, who recently returned from Montreal, Canada where she attended the Edo National Association Worldwide, ENAW Convention.
A statement by Edo State Diaspora Liaison officer in the United States, Dr. Osagie Igbinosun, says the Agency’s DG is coming at a time when visionary leadership is most needed, noting that it is heartening to witness the emergence of a dynamic figure at the helm of the Agency.
According to the statement, the appointment of Mrs. Ogboro-Okor is already proving to be a masterstroke in public service leadership.
The Diaspora Akpakomiza Movement commended the Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, for his wisdom and foresight in the appointment of Ogboro-Okor as DG, Edo State Diaspora Agency.
It maintained that Governor Okpeholo’s decision reflects deep understanding of the vital role the group is playing in the development of Edo State, just as it also reinforces the state government’s commitment to inclusive and strategic governance.
