A National Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Leader of the Owan West Local Government Chapter, High Chief Lucky Ohimai (popularly known as Tarex), has congratulated the Executive Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, on his one year in office and his recent victory at the Election Tribunal.
In a congratulatory message he personally signed, High Chief Ohimai, who also serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Tarex Conglomerate and coordinator of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 campaign in Edo State, commended Governor Okpebholo’s administration.
He highlighted the construction of the state’s first overhead bridge at Ikpoba Hill as well as the rehabilitation of the Auchi–Igarra–Ibillo federal road.
High Chief Ohimai also acknowledged the provision of a 2.5MVA electrical injection substation in Udomi and the establishment of the Edo State College of Nursing, Health Sciences and Technology at Udomi.
He lauded the Governor’s ₦2.5 billion donation to UBTH for the construction of an Infant Health Care Centre and the creation of the National Obstetrics Fistula Centre—the first in the South-South.
He praised the employment of 6,000 teachers, and ₦2.6 billion in bursary awards for Edo students.
He commended reforms at Ambrose Alli University; he noted the appointment of a substantive Vice-Chancellor.
High Chief Ohimai also applauded the restoration of dignity to the Edo traditional institution.
