Ambassador Prince Johnson Atseleghe, JP, the Iyasere of Warri Kingdom, has congratulated the Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, on the affirmation of his victory in the September twenty-one governorship election by the Supreme Court.
Ambassador Prince Atseleghe, in a congratulatory message, said the Supreme Court verdict confirms the fact that the Edo State governorship election was free, fair and credible.
He hailed the Edo State Election Petition Tribunal, the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court for their verdicts, which are in line with the expression of Edo people, who came out en masse to speak with their vote.
Ambassador Prince Johnson Atseleghe said that with the legal battle over, Senator Monday Okpebholo will now settle down to continue with the development he has started in Edo State, especially the construction of the first flyover in the state.
He prayed that God Almighty would strengthen Governor Okpebholo in the task of making Edo State rise again.
