Tensions flared in Obagie community, Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area of Edo State, as indigenes took to the streets to protest what they describe as years of marginalization and alleged mismanagement by Presco Plc, a company established in their community during the tenure of the immediate past governor of Edo State.

The demonstrators, carrying placards, called on the Edo State Government to intervene, accusing the company of exploiting the community’s resources without providing meaningful benefits to the host residents.
