Reps Seek to Mandate President Goodluck Jonathan to Deliver State of Nation Address

A Bill for an Act to alter the provisions of section 67 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 passed second reading today in the House of Representatives.
National Assembly Correspondent Charity Marcus reports that the Bill which seeks to compel Mr. President to deliver a state of nation address before a joint sitting of the National Assembly generated strong reactions before it scaled through.
