It was a rainy afternoon in most parts of Benin City.
At Uselu Ugbowo Lagos Road, the rainfall disrupted social economic activities in the area.
The flood also created gridlock as motorists were stranded for hours.
Some Benin City residents were also caught napping because they left their homes without umbrella, not anticipating rainfall.
Musa Saidu reports that some local residents and motorists who were also stranded waited for the flood to abate to enable them continue with their movement to different destinations movement.
