NSCDC, Ondo State arrest 5 suspects for alleged illegal dealing in petroleum products

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Ondo State Command has arrested five suspects for alleged involvement in unlawful dealing in Petroleum products, suspected adulterated Automotive Gas Oil (AGO)- Diesel.
 
The suspects were also accused of transporting Petroleum products without lawful license.
 
Parading the suspects before Newsmen, Ondo state commandant of NSCDC Hammed Abodunrin, said the arrest, was made possible following a tip-off during a routine patrol by the anti-vandal unit of the command.
 
He said the suspects could not produce any document authorizing dealing in Petroleum products as the samples sighted at the point of arrest were different from the contents in the Truck.

The commandant said the five suspects would be charged to Court on the conclusion of investigation.
