Institute of Chattered Mediators and Conciliators launches Volunteer Scheme in Benin

As a way to further strengthen the alternative dispute resolution mechanism in the society, the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators, Edo State Branch has launched its volunteer mediation scheme, which is expected to visit strategic locations and market places, to resolve minor conflicts.

The ceremony which attracted the Chief Judge of Edo State, Justice Joe Acha, lawyers and other volunteers was in partnership with German Agency for International Cooperation, GIZ.
