Egor PDP inaugurates members to conduct nationwide e-registration

Ahead of the PDP e-registration exercise nationwide, the Egor chapter of the party has inaugurated over one hundred e-registration members to coordinate the exercise.

Efosa Uwangue reports that the inauguration was carried out by the Egor PDP coordinator for Governor Godwin Obaseki, Chief Odion Olaye.

The PDP nationwide e-registration which is expected to kick off next month is designed to bring in new members to boost the numerical strength of the party.

The PDP e-registration exercise which has as its national chairman, the governor of Edo State Mr. Godwin Obaseki will ensure the achievement of the party is canvassed to convince new members to participate.

Against this backdrop, the Egor chapter of the PDP was inaugurated during the first general meeting presided over by the acting chairman Ayo Efosa, who with the acting secretary Ikponwonsa Eguavon and others suspended the chairman Manfred Ekundayo recently.

The Coordinator Egor chapter of PDP to Governor Godwin Obaseki Chief Odion Olaye during the inauguration mandated the members to go the extraordinary to woo new members to the party.

He said the members should see the development as a call to serve and enhance the strength of the party in Egor.

The acting chairman of the party Ayo Efosa said the turnout of the party members in Egor for the meeting was a testimony that the members are more united more than ever before.

The acting secretary Ikponwonsa Eguavon solicited the cooperation of all to continually strengthen the party in Egor local government.

Other leaders of the party, barrister Sunday Obazee and Clifford Enabulele said the cooperation received from the Members of the party is a testimony that Governor Godwin Obaseki has done so much to unite the party and impact integrity a departure from the past.

The meeting was attended by representatives from all the ten wards including the immediate past vice chairman of Egor local government area former councilors, former aides to the governor among others.
