Dilapidated Orere Primary School, Igarra In Dire Need Of Attention
Staff and Pupils of Orere Primary School Igarra in Akoko Edo local government area have begged the Authorities to urgently address the Deplorable state of their School.
The Appeal is coming on the heels of the outcry which trailed the alleged poor execution of the reconstruction work on Lawani Street off Technical School Road in Igarra, by Royal Jeff Nigeria Limited.
The plight of gross lack of basic learning and other Infrastructure at Orere Primary School Igarra first exposed through a Video shot by a Public Spirited Individual Paul Alaba Lawani.
In the Video the Public Affairs Analyst drew attention to the fallen Roofs, Broken Classroom Walls, and overgrown Grasses.
A visit to the School reveals nothing less than projected as the Premises has degenerated to a state of Facility Squalor.
The headmaster of the School, Mrs. Evelyn Adewale said the situation had taken a long time to address and revealed her effort in getting the Local Government Education Authority to Rehabilitate the School
Some of the School pupils appealed to the State government and other relevant authorities to come to assist them to rebuild the School.
Orere Primary School Igarra was established in 1977 and has three blocks of Classrooms.
The School lacks perimeter fence while the Five Toilets are in a terrible State.
