Deputy Chancellor, IUO inaugurates building for 13 Entrepreneurship Programs

As part of activities for the twenty-third Founders Day of Nigeria’s Premier Private University, Igbinedion University, Okada, the Deputy Chancellor and a former two-time Governor of Edo State, Chief Lucky Nosakhare Igbinedion today inaugurated new blocks of buildings for the institution’s Sir David Osunde Centre for Entrepreneurship and Skills Acquisition.

Inauguration of new lecture rooms for the entrepreneurship and skills acquisition program by the Deputy Chancellor, IUO Chief Lucky Igbinedion on behalf of his father and Chancellor Sir, Chief, Dr. Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion to herald the twenty-third founders’ day celebration.

Chief Lucky Igbinedion in company with the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Lawrence Ezemonye, management staff and several dignitaries including Managing Director of ITV and Radio, Engr. Elvis Obaseki to inaugurate the new Blocks of classrooms for the Entrepreneurial programmes

Chief Lucky Igbinedion was taken on a guided tour of the classrooms for Entrepreneurial programmes including fashion design, leather works at the shoe-making school, catering and cosmetics where he also interacted with the students.

In a speech shortly after the inauguration of the Deputy Chancellor, Chief Lucky Nosakhare Igbinedion advised the students to take advantage of the thirteen programs to acquire vocational skills.

Managing Director Independent Television and Radio Engr Elvis Obaseki led the management team of the station including the executive director Lady Celerina Ojomo to the event.

Music Students of the Institution entertained guests and Dignitaries with melodious songs.
