Benin City residents receive ewere leaves

As part of the annual Ugie festivities, the symbolic Ewere leaf which represents peace was distributed in the early hours of today.

Ikponmwosa Ugiagbe who monitored the Ugie Ewere reports that Some families in Benin City were excited as they received the Ewere leaves.
