The acting Chairman of Ikpoba-Okha Local Government, Jolly Obosa Ogbeide, says the judgement of the Supreme Court, which reaffirmed the victory of Senator Monday Okpebholo as governor of Edo State, is a true reflection of the wishes of the people.
This was contained in a statement by the Acting Chairman, Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area, while congratulating the Edo State Governor on the victory at the Supreme Court.
Mr. Jolly Obosa Ogbeide said the judgement of the Supreme Court did not come to him as a surprise, as he has always believed that the apex court would dispense justice in favour of Edo people who came out in their numbers to cast their votes for Senator Monday Okpebholo on Twenty-first September, 2024.
The Ikpoba Okha Local Government Acting Chairman described the verdict as well-deserved and an affirmation of the mandate given to the governor by the people of Edo State on 21st September, 2024.
He prayed God to continue to guide and strengthen the governor as he continues to work for the overall development of Edo State.
