The Chairman of Egor Local Government Area, Doctor Ighodaro Kelvin Eguakun, says the Supreme Court judgement which re-affirmed Senator Monday Okpebholo as the duly elected governor of Edo State is a confirmation that the people of Edo State spoke and their voices were heard in the vote cast for governor at the 21st September, 2024 Governorship election in the state.
This is contained in a congratulatory message to Governor Okpebholo on his reaffirmation by the Supreme Court.
Doctor Eguakun said the apex court affirmation is historic and a clear testament of the overwhelming support Governor Okpebholo enjoys across the State and a reaffirmation of the collective will of the people of Edo State.
The Acting Chairman of Egor Local Government Area said Governor Okpebholo’s leadership style and commitment to infrastructural development are an inspiration in the quest to improve the socio-economic fortunes of the state.
Doctor Eguakun, who enjoined the people of Egor to continue to support the governor in improving the lot of the people, prayed for God’s wisdom, grace and protection on Governor Monday Okpebholo.
