In a renewed effort to boost agricultural productivity and ensure sustainable food security across Nigeria, over four thousand, three hundred women and youths, including persons with disabilities in Edo State, have benefited from the LIFE-ND Agricultural Programme.
The Edo State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Dr. Jerry Uwangue, disclosed this during the one-week wrap-up meeting of the 5th Joint Supervision Mission of the Livelihood Improvement Family Enterprises in the Niger Delta (LIFE-ND) Project, organised by the Federal Government in collaboration with the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) in Benin City.
