Residents of Edo State have issued a 21-day ultimatum to relevant authorities to intervene in the operations of the Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC) over what they describe as persistent poor electricity supply and unfair billing practices.
The warning was issued during a press conference by the group, Organised Edo Against BEDC Oppressions, held at the Youth House on Akpakpava Road in Benin City.
