Edo State Commissioner for Water Resources and Sanitation, Barrister Washington Osifo, on Wednesday, said he tendered his resignation letter as Commissioner in accordance with the Electoral law, which stipulates that political appointees interested in contesting elective positions should resign 30 days before the party primaries.
Barrister Osifo disclosed this when he visited the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Edo State Council, to inform journalists of his decision to contest for Uhunwmonde/Orhionwmon Federal Constituency Seat in the National Assembly.
