The 2025 Vice-Chancellor Inter-College Football Competition, VC’s Cup, of Nigeria’s premier private university, Igbinedion University, Okada, has concluded in dramatic fashion as Health Sciences claimed the trophy with a tense 7–6 penalty shootout victory over Law after a goalless 90 minutes.
Osemudiamen Osagie reports that two-time Governor of Edo State and Deputy Chancellor of IUO, Chief Lucky Igbinedion, and the Vice-Chancellor of Igbinedion University, Professor Lawrence Ezemonye, were among several dignitaries who graced the final, played at the main football pitch of the University’s Sports Complex.
