A wave of fear swept through the Iyekogba area of Benin City on Tuesday following a disturbing incident of mob violence involving students of Iyekogba Secondary School. 16-year-old Osarobo Evbuoman was allegedly beaten to death.
The attack also left 17-year-old Osamudiamen Kayode injured, while another boy reportedly remains unaccounted for.
The incident prompted swift action from law enforcement, resulting in the arrest of several students on Wednesday.
