Fifteen years after her passing, family members, friends and well-wishers have gathered to honour the life and legacy of the late Deaconess Mrs. Selia Ukponmwan, with a thanksgiving service held at the United Baptist Church, followed by a reception that brought together dignitaries from different walks of life.

Ofure Anetor, who captured highlights of the colourful ceremony, reports that the event attracted prominent personalities, including the Coordinator of the Office of the First Lady, Mrs. Edesili Okpebholo Anani, former Deputy Governor of Edo State, Dr. Pius Egberamwen Odubu, among others.
